Position Type: Full-Time/260 days/8 hours per day

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to support our Operations Director in the daily management of school operations.

Position Summary

The Operations Director Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the smooth and efficient functioning of school facilities and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of school maintenance, strong organizational and communication skills, and the physical capability to assist with deliveries and facility needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and monitoring of routine school maintenance tasks

  • Lift and transport items up to 50 lbs; deliver supplies and equipment to school sites as needed

  • Prepare and submit Purchase Orders in accordance with district procedures

  • Maintain accurate records and assist with operational financial tracking and reporting

  • Collaborate with vendors and staff to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing

  • Provide support to the Operations Director on various facility and logistics projects

  • Monitor inventory and request restocking of essential supplies

  • Perform other duties as assigned related to school operations

  • Have general knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Drywall installation. 
  • Be able to be on top of schools to service HVAC and plumbing needs, as well as do general maintenance and inspections



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of school maintenance procedures and operations. HVAC, Electric, and Plumbing

  • Strong organizational and clerical skills

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Experience with financial recordkeeping and purchase order systems preferred

  • Proficient in basic data entry

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

Work Environment

This position involves both office work and physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and delivering supplies. Must be comfortable working in a school setting and interacting with staff and contractors.
