Position: Indian Education Tutor/Student Advisor (part time)

Pay: $14.47/hr.
Classification: Non-Exempt
Days/Time: Flexible Schedule M-F (20 hours weekly)
Description: This position will include assisting Native American students with assistance in core subject areas for high
school credit. The student advisory portion of this position will include assisting alternative education students with various life skills, such as grade tracking, college applicants, votech applications, career advancement and life skills,
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated voice with good diction. Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language in a variety of forms. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
