Sand Springs Schools is accepting applications for CBMS GIRLS' SOFTBALL COACH for the 2026-2027 season. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, running all aspects of a comprehensive 7th and 8th-grade PROGRAM, including Practice and event day management & coaching, staffing, media and public relations, fiscal management of the program budget (including mandatory budgetary training), and other responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director. 
 
Summary: Successful candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to maintain and direct the booster club, interact effectively and appropriately with student-athletes, maintain student-athletes' academic integrity, and demonstrate a commitment to Sand Springs Public Schools and OSSAA regarding rules and regulations. Review of all applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications: 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated voice with good diction. Ability to read, write, and interpret English in various forms. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee will be lifting, bending, and crawling, and must be able to raise a minimum of thirty (30) pounds. The employee will be standing and climbing stairs.
