Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexible based on project needs), July 1st- August 14th

 

Job Overview

Are you a tech-savvy student looking for hands-on experience this summer? Sand Springs Public Schools is looking for a motivated and reliable Student Summer Worker to join our Information Technology (IT) Department!

This is an excellent opportunity to peek behind the scenes of a school district’s technology infrastructure, learn valuable troubleshooting skills, and help us prepare our campuses for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You will work closely with our IT professionals to update, organize, clean, and deploy devices across the district. If you love technology and want to earn money while serving the Sandite community, we want you on our team!

Qualifications & Requirements

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated voice with good diction. Ability to read, write, and interpret English in various forms. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee will be lifting, bending, and crawling, and must be able to raise a minimum of thirty (30) pounds. The employee will be standing and climbing stairs.
